Linda started her Housing Benefits career in Sheffield, when it transferred from what was the DHSS to local government in 1982. Since then, Linda has been Benefits Manager in five local authorities, has written and presented hundreds of courses to thousands of delegates and has provided consultancy services to many benefits services in England, Wales and Scotland. In 2005, Linda developed the blueprint for The Benefits Directory and has since turned it into the flagship product of LA Directories Ltd, of which she is Managing Director - a company providing web-based knowledge management solutions and other products to local authority benefits and revenues services
Peter (no relation to Linda - co-incidences really do happen!) is a consummate sales and marketing professional with over 20 years experience selling products and services to large private and public sector organisations. As Accounts and Marketing Manager for LA Directories Ltd Peter has quickly assimilated into the world of local government. Peter’s experience has enabled LA Directories Ltd to improve its support to existing members, review its new business processes and consider innovative marketing collateral ideas
Christine worked at Rolls-Royce Ltd for 33 years and was a Systems Administrator for her final nine. For LADL she is the directories’ Product Administrator and converts content text from various document formats into HTML, and grapples with HTML’s turbulent moods, intricacies and foibles so that page, row and table layout is easy to read. No mean feat!
LA Directories Ltd employs associates from time to time to develop content for the Benefits or the Revenues directories; or to design and deliver training courses for RevBen professionals.
